High Rollers Slots
If you've played a few slot games already, you might know the phrase high rollers. It refers to players who have a budget large enough to place big bets on their favorite slots and casino games. However, the High Rollers slot doesn't bear any relation to this idea, as you'll see throughout our review below. If you are curious, we'll reveal the theme in a short while.
Developer details for this game
It's an old title from Realtime Gaming, although its age works rather well in this case…
Don't forget to try the demo version of High Rollers first
You'll see what it involves and get a better feel for the title as well. Could this be a favorite to add to your list of slots you regularly play?
So, have you figured out that theme yet?
High Rollers is based in the Seventies - a groovy decade for many people, as you'll soon see.
High Rollers has an excellent design
There are some simple elements to this slot, but the design has managed to transport us back to the Seventies in several ways. Look out for a peace sign, along with a famous Volkswagen camper. There's a guy with groovy hair standing to the left of the paytable too.
Let's lay out the basics for the High Rollers slot game
This is a standard three-reel game, and they've even designed it to look like a one-armed bandit machine. The peace sign lands as the wild icon, so if you get this on the reels, you can use it to substitute for everything else in the game. The quickest of looks at the game reveals there is no chance of scoring a progressive jackpot here.
Is this a single payline game?
No, there's more here than you might have guessed, with five fixed paylines in play.
The number five is important in terms of betting too
Just as you have five lines to cover, you'll also need to play at least five cents on each of them. There are a few other coin values available as well, with the biggest costing $5 a time. You'll only play one coin per line.
You'll have no problems finding the paytable
While many slot games require you to select a link to see the paytable, that's not the case with the High Rollers slot. Instead, you'll see it on the part of the machine that appears above the reels.
You will notice that there are two areas to this paytable, indicating the prizes you'd receive if you landed each combination on any of the first four lines. There is a bigger top prize for the fifth line if you manage to get the Volkswagen on each position on that line instead.
This isn't a bonus slot game
We think you might have figured that out by now.
Free spins don't feature either
The wild is the only highlight to note in this game.
RTP details do not turn up in this game
This is hardly a surprise as they never appear in any Realtime Gaming slot.
High Rollers deserves a cool score
We normally score our slots out of 10, but we are going to up that to 100 here. That way, we can score it in the seventies… get it? And we'll go for 77, too.
The top prize is way lower than we expected
Finding three Volkswagens on line five will bring you 100x your bet. You'd usually see figures into the thousands, so this is low. However, there are only four symbols to look out for when you play, so there could be better odds of finding prizes than you might see in other games.
Head back to the Seventies for some demo action
If you still aren't sure whether you want to play this one for real, a stint on the practice version of the game would be ideal instead.
You can then choose to change to real play if you want to
By this point, you should have all the information you need to work out how you'd like to proceed.
Will you find High Rollers on mobile devices?
Check individual casinos to be sure, as the age of this game might make it more difficult for you to check out a mobile version.
